Position: Sr. Application Penetration Tester (Remote Possible)
Summary:
MCH is hiring multiple Penetration Testers to support several prestigious clients and federal agencies. Minimum of 5 years of application development and 5 years of penetration testing experience with ability to independently complete an application penetration test in accordance with OWASP and industry best practices.
Thorough understanding of methodology and ability utilizing assessment and exploitation tools, including:
- Kali Linux
- Metasploit
- Burp Suite Pro
- NMAP
Experience:
- Manual App Pen Testing – 5 years of exp
- Manual API Testing – 5 years of exp
- Perform manual Application penetration testing against API’s (REST/SOAP), Web Applications, Mobile applications, and thick client applications.
- Perform threat modelling, evaluate application business logic, and perform application architecture reviews.
- Ability to demonstrate application testing experience in real time via demos to both internal and external audiences.
- Act independently in penetration testing engagements, with minimal oversight and guidance.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for junior engineers.
- Engage with technical and non-technical audiences to articulate both testing processes, techniques, and results; guide technical audiences on remediation options and assist clients in weighing those options.
- Partner with the Cyber teams to develop new testing techniques, automation for testing and marketing collateral to support the practice and mentor junior and offshore team members on tools and techniques in performing tests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Able to pass a background check and show proof of vaccination against COVID 19
